In Augusta, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Georgia, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Augusta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Augusta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The nice lady sold me a tomato plant. She told me how to care for it and how to prune it. She said do it and itโll take offโฆwell, it did!!!! This is my prize plant out of all my vegetables! Itโs getting so big that I had to order new supports. Look for yourselfโฆ

The best local nursery Iโve been too. Helpful staff and great selection. I seriously wasnโt expecting such beautiful veggies and flowers everywhere and most of the stock is homegrown and very affordable!

Lovely selection of Spring flowers and ferns. Nice people. This is my third year buying coral geraniums that always do so well. Images are from previous years but I expect todayโs purchase will delight in the same way.
